'Consider how the wild flowers grow. They do not labor or spin. Yet I tell you, not even Solomon in all his splendor was dressed like one of these."
Luke 12:27

Our Mission

Our mission is to provide a safe home for children in troubled families while their parents seek help for addiction or abuse issues before the state has to intervene. We do this by hiring loving foster parents to live and work in our homes, and provide a family atmosphere for the children. We believe this will lift some of the burden off of the state and CPS to have to remove children from their homes and put them into the system. We also believe this will help these children to grow up as more functional members of society than they would otherwise

Our Purpose

To provide a safe place for children in difficult situations. To provide a place for young adults who are aging out of the foster system the opportunity to go to college by providing them a place to live and teaching them the skills needed to function in adulthood.

Who We Are

One day I was sitting by the pool at my apartment complex watching my daughter play. I was sitting there daydreaming of what it would be like to win the lottery. One of my thoughts were to start a foster home, because I would want to do good with the money and not just spend it on myself. Sometime after this I lost my job. At the time I was a single mom so losing my job that barely paid the bills was a big deal. I started praying really hard about what to do. I felt like God was telling me he wanted me to start a foster home and not to worry about the money. Naturally I did worry about the money, but then at a Christian concert in Burleson where Francis Chan was a guest speaker I couldn’t tell you what all his sermon was about but I remember hearing him say “if God tells you to do something you do it, you don’t let money get in the way, He will provide.” This really tugged at my heart. After that I had two more similar confirmations that this is what God was calling me to do and to not worry about the money. I am sorry to say I don’t remember what the other two were, but I remember that there were two of them. So, long story short the reason I am doing this is because God said “this is what I want you to do.”
